It’s been a full week around here. Thank you for your encouragement this week, especially to my face-to-face friends who have given the best kind of love and support. I’m looking forward to giving hugs of gratitude when I see you this weekend.
Here are some of my favorite reads from the week. As you find rest this weekend, may these renew your mind:
- The Mortification of This Mother’s Sin by Priya Samuel at Domestic Kingdom:
I made an idol of being in a different season of life, and my sin was made evident through my anger, frustration, complaining, and sometimes my sinful, excessive, and unnecessary discipline of my children.
- Books That Changed Me by Sandra Peoples. Good books, including a favorite of mine.
Speaking of books, I’ll be loading this one up on my Kindle. It has received great reviews from people whose opinion I respect, and I suspect I’ll be writing more about it soon.
May the flowers beckon you with their fragrance. May the longer days coax you into extended play. May your heart be full of love and laughter. May your weekend be blessed.
