There’s Always Time to Count

Oh my, it was a busy week. Not too many activities; just long work days that left me sapped of physical and mental energy. My camera sat untouched most of the week. Words had no time to be written. But I always have time to do at least a little counting. I always have time to be thankful for God’s blessings.

Counting the endless gifts: #763 – 776

  • sound of the mail truck at our mailbox; mail; walking out to the mailbox barefooted on a Spring-like day
  • robins everywhere (a sign of Spring arriving)
  • husband coming home for lunch
  • sun pouring in the windows at the end of an otherwise gloomy day
  • catching up with a friend over the phone
  • the smell of Spring; taking a walk with my girl (first one this year!); holding hands
  • yellow candles to welcome Spring

  • a carefree Saturday to recuperate from a long work week
  • supermoon; bright moonlight streaming through the blinds all night

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? – Psalm 8:4-5

I’m hoping this week brings a little more empty space to gather my thoughts in this place and to have the camera in my hands.

In hope,
Shelli

I’m here from Ann’s again today

And – supermoon; bright moonlight streaming through the blinds all night – that was the thank you on your list I most liked because it was raining here in St. Louis all night – and I missed it – so I kind of covet your super moon – in a good way 🙂 – the verse topped it off like a cherry on whipped cream.

God Bless and Keep you and all of yours.

Always time to be thankful — I really liked that! Glad the Robins made it home safely from our Florida yard! It seems a while now since they left here on their journey northward. They are a favorite of mine ever since childhood!

Thanks for your list today. It was good to be be here!

  4. Hi! I’m stopping in from Ann’s. This is a lovely list! I especially enjoyed the first one about walking out to the mailbox barefoot. A sure sign that Spring is on the way! And the supermoon was beautiful, wasn’t it?
