It’s late. But, I don’t want to miss another week. It’s been too long.

So what was long enjoyed and savored, I quickly list this week.

  • peonies

  • last day of school
  • summer mornings
  • the moon at deep blue hour

  • vacation prepping
  • smooth travel
  • reuniting with family
  • squeezing sisters tightly
  • enjoying baby nieces and nephew
  • sweet baby toes

  • all of us together for Father’s Day; dad with all his children and grandchildren
  • perfect weather every day
  • seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time
  • gorgeous day at the beach
  • Cheesecake Factory {oh please, please, please come to Michigan}
  • Google Maps on the iPhone
  • successfully navigating 7-lane freeways {the widest we have in Michigan is 4 lanes}
  • water pressure that made us appreciate how wonderful ours is at home
  • disappointments that teach
  • lessons learned
  • coming home
  • bike ride with my son {the first of many this summer}
  • long talks with my man; going for walks
