One Thousand Gifts :: Snow

However many blessings we expect from God, His infinite liberality will always exceed all our wishes and our thoughts. – John Calvin

It’s been an upside down winter. We’ve watched Texas, Tennessee and Washington, D.C. receive lots of snow. Yet, up here in Michigan, where it is supposed to snow, there had been very little. Winter finally arrived this week in the north. And it was beautiful. Gratitude is easily expressed amidst such splendor, is it not?
