I am thankful that Advent and Christmas are so close to the New Year. Were it not so, were they at another time during the year, what reminder would I have for hope in the new year? For it is my hope in Christ that gives meaning to any hope I may have for the new year.
May you, too, carry the hope of Christ with you into the new year. May you seek to know Him with fresh wonder.

This is a fabulous image of light …both in candle flame and in bokeh. I don’t believe I’ve seen a photo with the bokeh within the candlelight as well as in the background.

Thanks, Stephani. It’s a Studio Press theme called Pretty Pictures. The link to the theme is at the very bottom of my blog. You’ll see that I didn’t change it much. I really loved the simplicity of it just as it was.
Unless you’re starting a new blog from scratch, the switch to WordPress will be your biggest challenge. I like Studio Press because you pay one time for a theme (no annual fee). Although you will have to pay an on-going fee for hosting. I use Dreamhost for my hosting and have been happy with them, but I know there are other good hosting companies, too.
