He Loves Me Very Well

He is patient with me.
He is kind to me.

He does not envy me.
He does not boast.
He is not proud.
He is not rude to me.
He is not self-seeking.
He is not easily angered.
He keeps no record of my wrongs.
He does not delight in evil; he rejoices in truth.
He always protects me.
He always trusts me.
His love always hopes.
His love always perseveres.

His love never fails.

Yes, my husband loves me!

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. – Ephesians 5:25-28

He loves me very well.

Lord, I thank you for this wonderful man You’ve given me. He loves me so well. Fiercely, passionately, tenderly, sacrificially, joyfully. Cause me to accept all the love he has to give, and to return his love with equal devotion.

I love you, Eric, my love. Today and always!

With all my love,
Shelli
