Hello Hopeful Friends,
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I haven’t disappeared. I am anxious to spend more time with you; there is so much to share. I have just been busy. With a capital B. Busy! And since blogging is still so new to me, I haven’t quite figured out how to fit it in without staying up until midnight every night.
But as Beth pointed out at the LPL Simulcast this weekend: when all is said and done, we do what we want to do. Well, I know this: I will make room for writing because it’s important to me. It’s important for me to share the hope that is in me {hint, hint for those waiting for my stated blog purpose}.
In the meantime, I’ll give you a little morsel of fun from our American Girl trip. The surprise at the hotel was that we booked a room with the American Girl package. Part of the package included an ice cream sundae delivered to our room. To our even greater delight, there was not only a bowl of ice cream for Isabelle, but also a smaller one for her doll, Samantha. The ice cream was delivered on a tray with all the fixings and Isabelle got to make her own sundaes.
She added grandma’s brownies to make them extra special and tasty.
ME: Barely able to answer yes because IÂ was laughing so hard.
Shelli, I'm so glad you are going to make time for your writing, and thank you for sharing these pictures!
