recounting His wonderful deeds

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart;
I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. – Psalm 9:1-2

Giving thanks to the Lord with my whole heart for these wonderful deeds:

#837 – 860

  • rumbles of thunder at night
  • another gorgeous day; once again on a Saturday when it can be most enjoyed
  • working together to get projects done
  • basement cleaned
  • donations ready for our church’s rummage sale
  • spring clean-up in the yard
  • surprise helicopter right over our house

  • vibrant colors

  • night photography outing (pics coming tomorrow)
  • pigeons in the church windows

  • ending the day in my man’s arms; his smell
  • pews that would soon be full

  • many voices praising His glorious name!
  • my own voice going hoarse from singing His praises

  • hot cross buns; with a late-night taste testing on Friday that was totally worth having to brush our teeth again

But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5

  • He suffered that I would not have to; He died that I might have life
  • It is finished!
  • the empty tomb
  • He is Risen!

and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. – Luke 24:46-47

  • His name still being proclaimed

In hope,
Shelli

      The helicopter would have been scary, but my husband had read in the paper that it was delivering the Easter Bunny to the park right by our house for an Easter Candy Hunt, so it was pretty neat to see it up so close (literally, right over our backyard for a few seconds!).
