Thankful for happenINGs

I noticed this week that a pattern quickly arose as I counted the gifts. Lots of INGs!

I kept noticing and feeling grateful for things that were happening.

720. friend calling

721. temps rising

722. snow melting

723. birds chirping

724. husband’s mind changing {and I was not guilty of nagging}

725. hand holding

726. sound sleeping

727. daughter dusting

728. son vacuuming

729. parents visiting

730. One Thousand Gifts: reading and finishing

Have you taken the dare to begin countING?

In hope,
Shelli

    I love you ING list. I want to get that book, but I haven’t done it yet! I’m sure it’s terrific.

    • Shelli says:

      Thanks, Stephani! Yes, it really is a wonderful book. Such rich theology wrapped in Ann’s poetic writing style. It brings brings out the depth of the counting.

    Just on chapter 3 in my book. I love watching the clips. Have you been watching?

    I have my ing list too….

    sometimes I write them on my blog. I have them in a little notebook. Haven’t made it to 1000 yet… around 850. Started mine in 2007 after reading at Ann’s place.

    Thank you for always encouraging!

    hugs.

      Hi, Teena! Yes, I have been watching the clips. It’s so nice to see Ann talk so casually, even though I know she is a bundle of nerves. The counting has been such a gift, but to read the book and see the depth…ah, just stunning. {{hugs}}
